Public Notice: Subject to Sections 5709.73 and 5709.83 of the Ohio Revised Code, this shall serve as notice that the Monroe Township Board of Trustees will hold a Special Meeting on July 16, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at the Monroe Township Building, 4 East Main Street, Tipp City, Ohio 45371. The purpose of the meeting will be to meet to consider legislation for the creation of a Tax Increment Financing District in the Township, and to provide information and to hear comments regarding the same.

Public Notice: The Monroe Township Board of Trustees will hold two public hearings to provide information and to hear comments regarding the following item: That Monroe Township, Miami County, OH, under the authority provided through Ohio Revised Code Section 4504.181 intends to levy an annual license tax upon the operation of motor vehicles on the public roads and highways in the unincorporated territory of the township; with use of those funds limited to any of the permitted uses, including paying for construction, reconstruction, improvement, maintenance, and repair of township roads, bridges, and culverts; purchasing road machinery and equipment, and maintaining suitable buildings to house such equipment, and for other permitted uses. The tax shall be at the rate of five dollars per motor vehicle on all motor vehicles registered in the unincorporated area of Monroe Township and shall be effective beginning March 1, 2020.
These public hearings will take place in the Monroe Township Board of Trustees Meeting Room, 4 E. Main Street, Tipp City, Ohio on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
